2024 NFL Combine results and measurements

The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis recently took place, with one of the key focuses being the measurements of quarterbacks (QBs). Players such as Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye chose not to throw at the event, but their measurements were still notable.

The full list of measurements included heights, weights, hand size, arm length, and wingspan. Williams, who measured 6-foot-1 1/8 and 214 pounds with 9 3/4 inch hands, impressed with measurements similar to that of NFL star Aaron Rodgers. Maye, on the other hand, stood out with his size and mobility, measuring at 6-foot-4 3/8, 223 pounds.

One quarterback whose stock rose at the combine was J.J. McCarthy, whose weight increased from 202 to 219 pounds. This increase puts him in a better position for success in the NFL. However, Daniels did not have measurements taken at the event, which could potentially be a setback for his draft stock.

Daniels’ weight will be a key factor moving forward, as QBs under 205 pounds have historically struggled in the NFL. His measurements will be taken at LSU’s Pro Day, where he will have the opportunity to showcase his physical attributes.

Overall, the QBs at the combine had their strengths and weaknesses highlighted through their measurements. While some, like Williams and Maye, impressed with their size and mobility, others, like Daniels, will need to prove themselves at future events to solidify their draft stock. Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming NFL draft.
