Payment calendar already released?
A frequent question for the thousands of workers eligible for the provision relates to the salary bonus payment schedule, if it has already been issued, given expectations that the benefit will begin in January.
However, the payment schedule has yet to be released, because Codefat will also make the calendar available in January, once the RAIS (Annual Social Information Report) data has been reviewed and verified which workers will have access to the feature.
However, payments are expected based on the month of workers’ birthdays, bearing in mind that the 2022 payments will occur between January and December and will not start in the second half of the year until they expire at the end of the first. semester of the following year.
What is the new value of PIS / Pasep 2022?
Currently, the set value of PIS/Pasep is one minimum wage, i.e. R$1,100 in 2021. However, it is important to highlight that the value will vary according to the time worked throughout the year.
Regarding projected values for next year, the Ministry of Economy expects the new minimum wage for 2022 to be R$1,210, based on a 10.04% increase in the National Consumer Price Index (INPC).
In terms of calculating how much a worker will get, just divide R$1,210 by 12 (twelve months of the year) and multiply by the number of months worked in 2020 and also in 2021.
Thus, the forecast is that about 23 million workers from all regions of the country will receive the PIS/Pasep salary bonus in 2022.
