The interstellar object collided with Earth in 2014
3 min readA document released by the US Space Command (USSC) confirms that an object coming from outside our solar system collided with Earth in 2014 and scattered interstellar debris in the Pacific Ocean.
A 2019 study by two Harvard University researchers has already revealed the first known galaxy to reach Earth five years ago. Now, a document released by the USSC confirms the researchers’ discovery and even advanced the possibility that there may be galactic remains in the Pacific Ocean from this meteorite that burned in the sky over Papua New Guinea.

The discovery of Harvard student Amir Siraj is still awaiting peer review, and the release a few years ago coincided with the discovery of two other large galaxies that did not come close to Earth, Omuwamuwa and Borisov. Land. Siraj confirmed to the motherboard that a team was preparing to search the wreckage of Papua New Guinea off the coast of this small meteorite.
The probabilities are low because the traces may be very small and scattered over a very large geographical area. “This is a big challenge, but we’re going to look at it in great depth, because the potential for interstellar objects is exciting, and it’s enough to talk to all the experts in the world about marine meteorite rescue missions,” Siraj said.
Amir Siraj and co-author Avi Lope want to analyze the meteorite impact database maintained by NASA’s Center for Material Research (CNOS) near Earth, which contains about 1,000 records. A fireball eruption recorded near Manus Island in 2014 and at speeds of more than 210 thousand kilometers per hour leaves in the air the possibility of it appearing in a planetary system or star far away from the solar system.
Siraj explains that because part of the censorship of these events is controlled by the US government, Siraj has been involved in a long-running process and is creating a bureaucratic platform between various state agencies to review and publish his research. Now, the USSC document dated March 1 confirms the high entry speed that can support the existence of at least one galaxy. Siraj will review his original invention and renew his efforts to publish it for the pleasure of the scientific community.
