Pfizer does not rule out the possibility of a multiple vaccine alternatives soon – 04/13/2022

The president of the North American Pharmaceutical Company said Wednesday (13) that an effective vaccine against various variants before fall in the northern hemisphere (between September and December) “is a possibility, but not a certainty.” The American Pfizer Company, Albert Burla.

This mRNA vaccine – like Moderna’s – has reduced efficacy against the omicron variant of the virus and its sub-variants, while still providing highly effective protection against severe symptoms, hospitalization and death.

Pfizer is currently testing different vaccines and at different doses. “Once we know the best way forward, we will apply for approval” in the United States, Europe and other parts of the world, he said.
