Ultimate Fighting Championship: Rafael Viziev knocks out dos Anjos in the fifth round of the main event | fighting
2 min read– Now I want to see who is the best Rafael in sports. Rafael Nadal, come here! – The winner of the main battle joked.
After an early start by accepting the Kyrgyz position, Dos Anjos made a dash to get him out, closing the fence, but the opponent defended well and resisted. Viziev was intimidating with his kicks, but the Brazilian pressed again in takedown attempts and in grabs. Although he was not defeated, he controlled the opponent well, but in the last seconds Viziev hit the best blows in a good combination.
Very quickly with punches and kicks, Fyzyev is back betting on short sets. About a minute and a half into the round, Dos Anjos attempted a takedown, but it was ineffective. The Kyrgyz followed better in hitting and defending the Brazilian’s attacks well. Dos Anjos started the third round by going up quickly to take down, but the opponent’s defense was up to date. By canceling the fight of the Brazilian wrestler, Fizeev found space to show his versatility in standing strikes.
The outlook hasn’t changed much back in the fourth round. Dos Anjos tried to fall, was rejected and pressed into the railing. By collapsing, Physiev was in danger. The Brazilian was still having a good time connecting the combination after a knee injury, but then it was his opponent’s turn to snatch. With just over a minute left, Dos Anjos was finally able to teleport him to the ground, but he did little to nothing. When Viziev appeared to be showing signs of fatigue, he went back to the fifth round, dropping a left hook that knocked out the Brazilian. He rolled a punch, really landed with dos Anjos on the ground, and was stopped by the central referee.
