A man found a blue lobster in early July while sailing off the coast of Portland, USA. The case, in addition to being impressive, is very rare.
According to a famous proverb among fishermen, the chances of catching crabs of this species are 1 in 2 million, but this claim has no scientific evidence.

Lars Johan Larsson said in a Twitter post that the animal was returned to the sea to continue growing.
According to a specialist institute known as the Lobster Institute at the University of Maine in the US, lobsters can be born in different colors, the vast majority of which are greenish brown.
A similar situation in Scotland
In September 2021, 47-year-old Ricky Greenho also managed to catch a blue lobster.

Greenhow told the BBC he would introduce the lobsters to a local aquarium or return them to the sea.
“I’m going to call the Macduff Aquarium to see if they want it; if they don’t, I’m going to put it back in the sea,” he told the BBC.

“It’s very rare that we put it in a pot,” the fisherman joked.
