Albert Einstein Hospital offers postgraduate studies for SUS specialists
1 min reada Israel Albert Einstein Hospital The Postgraduate Course in Management and Operational Excellence offers professionals in SUS. The initiative Free It is part of the Institutional Development Support Program for the Unified Health System (SUS), which is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
The program is already underway and aims to include 300 specialists by 2023, divided into five groups. Currently, 200 students are already participating in the classes, which take place in person and online. In the course, students learn strategy, innovation, routine management, the healthcare value chain, leadership, and operational excellence.

At the end of the project, students will visit the Einstein Center for Realistic Simulation, in São Paulo, where face-to-face training and lessons are conducted. In addition to classes, professionals also perform teaching And visiting participating hospitals to follow up on applied projects led by students. Professionals are selected through the Ministry of Health’s internal publication to regional ones, and from these, to public hospitals referring students to the course profile.
“The gains made by SUS are very significant as the organizations themselves begin to recognize their shortcomings and work to reduce or eliminate waste,” says Eduardo Nascimento, project coordinator at Einstein.
