Atletico Paranains terminates contract with former defender Dade, Cruzeiro
1 min readDefender Dade was signed in March this year and has not been used much since, having terminated his contract with Atletico Paranaense on Monday (8). Number 3, who also had stints in Vasco, Cruzeiro and Ponte Preta, entered the field only once for Furaco.
The 33-year-old defender was last included in Sunday’s game (7/8), in the 3-2 win over Atlético, in the 21st round of Serie A of the Brazilian championship.
Although he was registered in the Copa Libertadores and traveled with the red-black delegation for several matches, he only played against Tocantinpolis, in May, in the third stage of the Copa del Rey.
Dead Pass by Cruz
The owner of a successful career for Cruzeiro and Vasco, Dead has lived with several injuries in recent seasons. Since putting on the Raposa shirt for the last time, in October 2019, the defender has played only three more matches.
In Belo Horizonte, the defender played in 188 matches, scored 15 goals and won two editions of Brazil, Copa do Brasil and three Campeonato Mineros. He ended his time at Minas Gerais in July 2021, when the two parties reached an agreement in the labor court.
