A hurricane swept through Mississippi on Sunday, tearing down trees and clearing residents of chaos. Several hurricane warnings were confirmed on the ground with several hurricanes. In the afternoon a large wedge hurricane was seen east of the city of Yasuo. At 7:30 p.m., another hurricane was confirmed in Byram. Supercell headed north-east to Brandon. A house tree was damaged. No one was injured. A resident who wanted to remain anonymous described the incident. “It happened so fast. I was in the garage when the announcement came that I needed shelter. Before the loud roar could be heard my family went to our safe place. We got inside and the debris started to fly around the house. A funnel cloud was confirmed from the same super cell south of Jackson-Medker Evers International Airport.
