Tariq Cohen’s brother died at a North Carolina power station

Chicago Pierce’s twin brother Tariq Cohen was found dead Sunday at a North Carolina power station.

Police say the body of Duke Energy employee Tyrell Andre Cohen was found Sunday morning at a substation near Raleigh. Wake County Sheriff’s spokesman Eric Curry said Cohen was believed to have been electrocuted while climbing on electrical equipment. News and visitor reports. He is 25 years old.

Cohen went missing early Saturday morning

According to Carrie, Cohen fled the scene of a car crash in Raleigh around 2 a.m. Saturday. Authorities stopped their search after failing to locate him.

Cohen’s family filed a missing person’s report with Raleigh police late Saturday, prompting authorities to resume their search.

According to N&O, “he entered the substation, which may have been the result of an accident.”

Tariq, who grew up in nearby Bunn and studied at the University of North Carolina A&D, sought the help of his Twitter followers to locate his brother. A tweet was later deleted.

The Bears released a statement Sunday evening after authorities confirmed Cohen’s death.

Authorities did not suspect a bad game in Cohen’s death.
