Twenty-seven boats Cubans According to local press reports on Sunday (21), they were arrested by US authorities in the state of Florida.
Miami Customs and Border Protection (CBP) office holder Walter Schlosser announced via Twitter that members of US federal agencies responded to the landing of two Cuban immigrants in the Florida Keys.
The official explained that the arrival of 27 Cuban boats landed on Saturday (20), especially in Key Largo and the Marquesas Keys. None of them were injured and all are safe.
The U.S. Coast Guard also said that more than 200 Cuban sailors who arrived on various vessels off the coast of Florida last week have been turned away.
Additionally, as of October 1, 2021, the Coast Guard has detained 4,440 Cubans off the coast of Florida.
