The U.S. Census Bureau reports a large and unprecedented decline in the number of whites
2 min readFor the first time in history, the number of whites in the United States is declining, the country is very racially diverse, the U.S. Census said Thursday. The reason for this phenomenon is the population growth between 2010 and 2020.
Although whites are still the largest ethnic group in the country, 57.8% of the census recorded a decline of 8.6% over the decade. This is the lowest number in history.
This survey also highlights other aspects of population change, i.e., more than half of all U.S. counties lost population during the period under review.
Population growth is also one of the lowest in history since the 1930s. There was only an increase of 7.4% compared to the previous decade.
The fastest growing cities in the United States are in the suburbs Bucky is located in Phoenix, a suburb of Arizona. The population there has increased by almost 80%.
Phoenix overtook Philadelphia and made the list of the top five cities in the United States. Now the top five places are New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Phoenix respectively.
According to the census, Florida’s pension community, villages, is the fastest growing metropolitan area in the country.
Census information begins a fiercely discriminatory war in the United States as states use local data to shape congressional and state legislative districts for the next decade. Election reviewers, Republicans, believe that only through district reorganization can the Democrats’ small advantage be brought to an end in the House.
