“Donkey Kong Country” is a game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and is part of the “Donkey Kong” franchise created by Shigeru Miyamoto.

The game centers around the duo of Donkey Kong and his nephew, Diddy Kong, on a quest to recover a stolen banana trove from King K. Rool and his henchmen in the Kremlin.

“Donkey Kong Country” is the first “Donkey Kong” game not to be produced or directed by franchise creator Shigeru Miyamoto, despite his involvement in the project.

The game has sold over 9 million copies worldwide, making it the third best-selling NES game, and is considered one of the greatest video games of all time.

A Twitter fan named @ominecraftera posted a video merging the two classic games, calling this version the “Super Sonic System”. In the video, we can see a stage dubbed the “Green Corridor”.
