247 – On Monday (27), the Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silvera, identified the list of candidates for the Lula government to the Petrobras Board of Directors.
The candidate for the presidency of the Council is the current Secretary of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels, Pietro Adamo Sampaio Mendez.
As members of the Board of Directors, Petrobras President Jean-Paul Pratis; Carlos Eduardo Torchito Santos; Vitor Eduardo de Almeida Sabac; Eugenio Tiago Chagas Cordero y Teixeira and Wagner Granja Vetter (designated by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services), informs Folha de S. Paolo.
Independent board members have also been appointed, chosen from a list drawn up by a specialized company. They are Sergio Machado Rezende and Susana Can Ribeiro.

After the nominations, the names will be evaluated by an internal panel that analyzes biographies, taboos and ultimately inconsistencies.
