Congonhas Airport concession contract signed

The company had to bid R$2.4 billion to win the auction for the terminals and must run the airports for 30 years. Investments are expected to be R$5.8 billion.
The National Agency for Civil Aviation (ANAC) will have to validate the contract. If you do not find any violations, then the transition process for airport operators will begin.
Aena is expected to start operating the stations from July this year. The company also has 15 days, from the signing of the contract, to deposit the union grant – the amount paid for the use of the infrastructure.
To date, the concessionaire has already paid the Plan of Voluntary Separation (PDV) to Infraero, the state-owned company that operates the airports, in the amount of nearly R$800 million. It also produced feasibility studies worth R$25 million. There are also expenses with the auction in B3 (3 million R$).
