MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition to reach more devices than has already been announced

Last week, Xiaomi brought a lot of news to the world. In addition to the new best-in-class smartphone Mi Mix 4, the Chinese manufacturer returned to the tablet market with the Mi Pad 5 line and launched the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition interface, an improved version of the system.

The first wave of devices thought up with the novelty consisted of 12 Xiaomi and Redmi models, all of which are high-end devices, launched not so long ago. So far, the company has not said if it intends to add other phones to support the latest version of the interface.

However, in a new post, Xiaomi has apparently revealed that there will be a new batch of updates for MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition – but it will have to wait a while before then. According to the brand, due to specific arrangements, bandwidth limit and other factors, the upgrade process for the first batch is not expected to be completed until August 27.

The new features that come with MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition are aimed at providing better fluency and efficient use of energy, bringing a series of new features such as atomic memory and focused computing.

The presentation last Tuesday (10) from Xiaomi brought many news, focusing on Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. a MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version, Optimized Version for System, was also among the announcements and in the first batch of devices to receive this update there are 12 models from the manufacturer:

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition focuses on providing better versatility while consuming less power, bringing a number of new features:

• liquid storage: Sensitive monitoring of hash score increases hash efficiency by 60%. Lab simulation test with Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro shows that read and write losses are less than 5% after 36 months of use;
• atomic memory: This feature focuses on ultra-thin memory management and application memory partitioning. It also prioritizes termination of unimportant tasks and optimizes and compresses memory usage. Moreover, if we take the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative version as an example, the rear accommodation capacity increases by 64%.
