The figures were revealed on Wednesday the 14th by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC). In practice, the values of discounts range from R$2,000 to R$8,000.

However, only two models managed to qualify for the maximum discount of eight thousand. They are: Renault Kwid 1.0 Zen and Fiat Mobi 1.0 Like Flex. The latter has three versions eligible for discount: 341ACX0, 341ACY0, and 341ACZ0.

In total, nine automakers have joined the program: Renault, Volkswagen, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda, General Motors, Fiat, and Peugeot. This is because, according to MDIC, automakers can include other models at any time, it is only necessary to notify the ministry.
In practice, the discounts granted by the government range from R$2,000 to R$8,000. However, these values may be higher based on other parameters from manufacturers and dealers. Finally, the definition of discount ranges took into account three criteria:
- Lowest price;
- energy efficiency and
- national content.
Therefore, it is worth remembering that the higher the score in these criteria, the greater the discount. Understand how this calculation is done:
power supply:
- ethanol: 25 points;
- Electric/Hybrid: 25 points;
- FlexFluil (ethanol/gasoline): 20 points
Energy consumption
- Less than or equal to 1.40 MJ/km: 25 points;
- between 1.41 and 1.50 MJ/km: 20 points;
- between 1.51 and 1.60 MJ/km: 18 points;
- Between 1.61 and 2.00 MJ/km: 15 points.
productivity density
- greater than or equal to 75%: 25 points;
- greater than or equal to 65% and less than 75%: 20 points;
- Greater than or equal to 60% and less than 65%: 15 points.
