Introducing New Features on Shiv Telegram Media: Custom AI Stickers, Photo Filters, Clip Hub, and More
2 min readInstagram, the popular social media platform, has recently unveiled a new feature that allows users to create custom stickers for their Reels and Stories using artificial intelligence (AI). This exciting addition aims to further enhance the creative capabilities of Instagram’s users.
With this new feature, individuals can easily create stickers by uploading photos or videos from their phone’s Camera Roll or by selecting eligible media directly from Instagram. The AI model used to power this functionality is Meta’s Segment Anything AI model, which has the ability to seamlessly “cut out” objects within images with just a click. Additionally, users have the option to manually select the subject of the sticker if desired.
To access this feature, users can simply navigate to the “Create” option located under the sticker search entry box. It is important to note that this custom sticker feature differs from the text-based AI sticker feature that was previously introduced on Instagram.
In addition to the custom sticker feature, Instagram has also introduced several other creator-focused updates. Among these updates are the highly-requested “undo” and “redo” options for Reels, allowing creators to refine their content with ease. The platform has also incorporated tools that enable scaling and rotating individual clips, further enhancing the editing capabilities for Reels.
Furthermore, Instagram has expanded its library of photo filters for Posts. This collection now includes subtle color edits as well as more expressive styles, providing users with a wider range of options to enhance their visual content. Additionally, the platform has introduced new text-to-speech voices, various text fonts and styles, and support for outlines, enabling users to add unique elements to their posts.
Instagram has also made improvements to various existing features. Users can now enjoy enhanced ways to discover trending audio and easily access the audio browser. Furthermore, a new Reels metric called “Replays” has been added, which will be combined with “Initial Plays” to provide a comprehensive “Plays” figure.
These updates are rolling out gradually on Instagram, starting today. However, it may take a few days for all users to have access to these exciting features. Instagram continues to prioritize innovation and creativity, providing its community with new tools to elevate their social media experience.
