The Brazilian women’s goalie team beat China 1-0 in the second half of extra time this Wednesday (1st) and is in contention for an unprecedented medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo (Japan). The Brazilians face the United States today (1st) after beating the Russian Paralympic Committee RBC 5 to 3 in another match for the quarterfinals. The women’s golf final between Brazil and the United States will take place this Thursday (2) at 7:30 am (Brasilia time) at the Maguhari Messi Convention Center in Siba.

At the team level, Brazil does not have an easy life. Against the United States, the Brazilians lost the opening game of the game 6-4. As a result, the hosts drew 4-4 with Japan and Turkey lost 8-4, forcing the country to win the last round to cross the stage. But against current African champions Egypt, the South American team won 11-1.
