In the 2019 decision in Lima, no group or even individual action was allowed. The Peruvian authorities confiscated the belongings of several fans and they lost the flags, posters and banners that were left hanging outside the Monumental Stadium.
This time, another month ago, Flamengo accepted the fans’ request and asked for the decision against Palmeiras, on November 27, at the Centenário stadium, in Montevideo. The entity has not responded to the request yet.
The planned party includes mosaics, balloons (15,000 sausages) and vertical banners. The events were marked by a two-championship campaign in 2019, which featured a mosaic completed stage by stage, from the eighth to the semi-finals, with the phrase “we will play together for the cup to the end”.
If approved, all programs will be carried out in the Columbus sector, behind the goal, which offers tickets for sale exclusively to Flamengo fans. Projections are that about 10,000 Robro-Negro will occupy the space.
