Apple today announced the launch of the Beats Studio Buds + wireless headphones. The official price is R$1,799, although the product is not yet available on the official Apple website.

The successor to the Beats Studio Buds maintains a modern and sporty look along with advanced features. Therefore, it is also considered to be a cheaper brother to the AirPods Pro 2. The new Beats Studio Buds+ offer improvements in Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). According to Apple, with larger microphones and a more powerful processor, the headset is capable of canceling up to 1.6 times more external noise than the original model, which launched in 2021. In addition to Transparency mode (which allows you to hear ambient sound) It doubles as well.

In addition, the Beats Studio Buds + battery has an autonomy of up to 36 hours of continuous playback, with a USB-C charging case. It’s a huge gain compared to the old model, which had a maximum charge time of 24 hours. The new speaker is also lighter, weighing 110 grams versus 127 grams.

Like the AirPods Pro 2, the new Beats Studio Buds + also come with four silicone tips (in sizes XS, S, M and L) to fit more tightly in your ear. In addition to the transparent model, the phone is available in black and ivory. For those who do intense workouts, the good news is that it has sweat and water resistance (IPX4 certification).

The Beats brand was purchased in 2014 for US$3 billion (about R$14.85 billion) as Apple’s first foray into the wireless headphone market. Since then, the subsidiary has launched various models of the AirPods line, aimed more at a youth audience, but with similar technology. Therefore, their headphones become an option for those who want to use the Apple ecosystem without having to pay more for AirPods.
