According to analysts, offering two small 4K microLED displays, plus two Apple chips and an array of sensors, the Vision Pro has a slim profit margin. Mark Gorman believes the $3,500 charged for the Vision Pro only covers the cost of manufacturing the product.
However, there is hope for those who wish to purchase the product. Gurman suggests some changes that could lower its price, such as removing the “Pro” name.
This strategy has already been implemented in the broader audience-oriented variants of the iPhone, Mac and iPad, allowing a wider audience to enjoy the Apple experience without compromising their finances.
