The municipality of Sutton has got a nice share of 68 400 $ delivered Tuesday to a few artists and cultural organizations in the framework of the Programme of territorial partnership of the Montérégie-East.
For his project RetroLabo, visual artist Stéphane Lemardelé receives support of 14 150 $. RetroLabo is an exhibition and a book made in collaboration with photographers Éliane Excoffier and Tristan Corbeil, who have sketched their subjects in settings inspired by a photo of their own albums of memories respective.
The composer suttonnaise Anne Lauber may, in turn, rely on the support of $ 7,000 for his project Concert Bach, who meet in April of the professional musicians, amateurs and students, for the benefit of seniors at the Foyer Sutton.
An amount of 3050 $ is eventually given to the combination of Music and Traditions unlimited, to allow him to add a new pane “childhood” to the programming of the next Festival of traditional violin Sutton.
