Azucena miner sentenced to life in US
At the end of May 2019, a man stabbed his ex-wife from Azucena to death.
Antônio Lucas, 43, known as “Neguinho”, was sentenced to life imprisonment in the United States last Thursday (11). The trial was due to the murder of his ex-partner. According to information on the website, a conviction for first-degree murder carries a sentence of life in prison without parole. Antonio Lucas, who “self-represented” himself at trial, will be sentenced at a hearing scheduled for September 7.
