Carmen Binoto, former health minister of São Bento, dies

Carmen Regina Binotto passed away Thursday night (13), as reported by her family. Information about the wake and burial has not yet been revealed, but the ceremonies will take place in Curitibanos. She was the Minister of Health of São Bento do Sul between January 2021 and March 2022, and Director of the Sagrada Família Hospital between 2006 and 2007.

When she worked in the city in the 2000s, Carmen became part of the municipal health board, as recommended by the hospital unit. “Her passing away is a great loss for the entire community, especially for those who had the opportunity to work with her in the interest of public health,” the city council said in a statement.

Carmen Binotto holds a degree in accounting, a graduate degree in business administration, and an MBA in hospital management. Health Executive, with experience managing people, accreditation in hospital management and medical billing audit. He started his career in the financial sector and has worked in the health sector for 21 years.
