For example, fans of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ series have a lot to celebrate. New products are close to hitting the ground running.

Comic Com is a party. With huge lines of fans dressed as superheroes or space monsters circling every corner of the city’s convention center, no one is complaining about anything at the world’s biggest pop culture event.

Actor William Shatner, the eternal Captain Kirk of ‘Star Trek’, once again entertained nostalgic fans. At 91, he showed more vitality and physical shape than many younger people. Out of retirement, he helped promote ‘Masters of the Universe: Revolution’. For those who don’t remember, it was in this cartoon that the famous character He-Man appeared.

After two editions held up due to Covid-19, this year, around 130,000 people are expected to attend panels, autograph sessions and fill the stalls.

Those who camp out for more than 24 hours in front of the exhibition center are guaranteed entry to the world’s biggest party, where Hall H, the center of the exhibition, and Paramount Studios presents comics, science fiction and fantasy. The first look of his movie ‘Dungals & Dragons’.

Actors Chris Pine, Hugh Grant and Rage-Jean Page appeared on the theater’s 6,000-seat stage to discuss nostalgia and a light-hearted perspective on the world’s most popular PR game.

“It has a kind of Spielbergian energy, it’s like the movies I grew up with in the 1980s,” Pine declared, while Grant said the script had a ‘Monty Python vibe’, a popular English troupe known for comedy.

The footage from the film, which will be released in March 2023, shows a group of thieves raising dead bodies and being forced to compete in a deadly maze in front of a bloodthirsty audience being chased by monsters.

Page, who rose to fame as the heartthrob in the Netflix series ‘Bridgerton’, described the rigorous training for the action scenes.

‘I had to use the sword, my muscles were killing me, I had the best ass of my life,’ he declared, to the delight of the audience.

Comic Con began 50 years ago as a small comic book convention in the basement of a San Diego hotel and today attracts stars from Hollywood’s biggest studios, including Disney and Warner Bros.

And the giants have done nothing to deny rumors that they will reveal information from Marvel’s new sequel ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and announce a new Superman movie.

But all eyes are on two new TV series: Amazon Prime’s ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ and HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’.

‘The Rings of Power’ is Amazon’s ambitious story, set in JRR Tolkien’s book universe long before the events depicted in director Peter Jackson’s Oscar-winning trilogy.

The series, which has crossed the $1 billion mark, will run for five seasons starting September 2nd.

HBO has revealed details of its first ‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off series ‘House of the Dragon’, based on the fictional world of Westeros created by George RR Martin.

The author avoided talking about the rivalry between the owners. ‘I want both the series to appreciate themselves and reach an audience that is quality television. A great imagination,’ said Martin.

‘The more success we have in the fantasy genre, the more fantasy we have in the future,’ he wrote in a blog post.

HBO is hoping to build on the enormous popularity of the original ‘House of the Dragon’ series, which became a pop culture icon for eight seasons, spawned countless spoofs and won 59 Emmy Awards, a record for a television drama.

Starring Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans and Emma D’Arcy, ‘House of the Dragon’ tells the story of the Targaryen family, merciless dragon guardians, some 300 years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’.

Another ratings hit at the comic, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson stopped by to promote his upcoming superhero movie ‘Black Adam’. The film’s protagonist is Shazam’s main antagonist, and has also faced off against Wonder Woman and Superman. The story begins in Egypt, where the character was born, and tells his entire path. And the struggle to free himself from the spell that cursed him.

During the comic com. Disney+ has announced the upcoming Marvel-branded platform releases, which have already hit their first trailer and are slated for release on August 10, 2022, and the animated Spider-Man: Freshman Year, should be a hit. It will premiere in 2024. ‘I Am Groot’ follows the adventures of the much-loved Guardians of the Galaxy character in five short films.
