After becoming a three-time champion of Brazil, Corinthians will meet this Tuesday at the Libertadores Femenina table for 2021. The competition will begin on November 3, at its headquarters in Paraguay.
Timao in Group D along with San Lorenzo (Argentina), Nacional (Uruguay) and Deportivo Capiata (Paraguay) – Paraguay confirmed its place after beating Sol de America.
Corinthians made their debut on November 4, against San Lorenzo. In the second round, he faces Timao Nacional, of Uruguay, on November 7. Finally, Corinthians conclude the first stage against Deportivo Capiata, on November 10.
All matches will take place at 5:30 pm Paraguayan time. Since the host country must enter DST in October, the time will be the same as Brasil. At the end of the first stage, the first two in each group advance to the final stages. The decision will be made in Uruguay, on November 21.
The value of the first place prize is 85,000 US dollars (about 447,000 Brazilian riyals). The second place will get 50 thousand dollars (about 263 thousand Brazilian reais) and the third 35 thousand dollars (about 184 thousand Brazilian reals). The values are in the current quote.
In addition to their quest for a Libertadores triple, Corinthians are also looking to win the Campeonato Paulista treble in this second half. Corinthians leads the state with 16 points alongside Santos, but with a superior goal difference. Timão enters Paulistão Square this Wednesday, at 7 pm, to face Pinda, in Fazendinha.
