Paolo Pezulano unable to lead Cruzeiro against Nautico on Friday (26)

Early Thursday evening (25), Cruzeiro filed a motion for suspensive effect for the conviction of Paolo Pezzolano at the Supreme Court of Sports Justice (STJD). There is no deadline for the agency’s response.

On Wednesday (24), the coach was given a three-match ban for being sent off against CSA, for the Brazilian Championship Second Division, and the Fluminense for the Copa del Rey. The game is already done.

Regardless of the outcome, Pizulano will not be on the edge of the field for the match against Nutico, on Friday (26), at 9:30 pm, in Independência, for the second division.

In the match scheduled at the Horto stadium, Can Uruguay complies with the automatic suspension For ejection in a 2-2 draw with Grmio, last Sunday (21), in the Arena, in Porto Alegre.

If Cruzeiro obtains the stopping effect, Pizzulano can lead the Celestial Team against Sampaio Cora, on August 30 (Tuesday), at 7 p.m., at Castillo, in Su Los, in Marano.

Kicked out against CSA and Fluminense

In the 3-0 defeat to Fluminense in Mineiro, Pezzolano received a “reprimand” from referee Raphael Claus before being sent off in the 42nd minute.

The red card came after the Uruguayan player complained blatantly about an unremarkable foul by Cruzeiro, in a move in which the ball hit the arm of defender Manuel of Tricolor.

In the 1-1 draw between CSA and Cruzeiro, at Rei Pel Stadium, in Macei-AL, referee Flvio Rodrigues de Souza reported numerous insults by Paolo Pezulano. He also said that he was threatened by Uruguay, who was expelled in the first half of the match valid for the nineteenth round of the second division.
