Unimed Litoral Sul/RS has signed a contract with Lamb Construções e Engenharia to start the first phase of its vertical project for private healthcare services in the city of Rio Grande. The project aims to be a strategic pillar of Unimed’s sustainability and will seek to equalize the offer, quality and price of assistance services in the field of operation of the cooperative.
The first phase of the vertical, which will start in February 2023, is called Espaço + Saúde and is expected to be completed within 12 months. The investment will amount to R$ 30 million, including civil works (five floors) of more than 3,300 square meters, medical equipment and technology support – and will create 80 direct jobs in its full operation, benefiting the 58,000 clients served by Unimed Litoral Sul / LOL.
Espaço + Saúde will consist of diagnostic services such as a complete and state-of-the-art CDI (Centre for Diagnostic Imaging), CDE (Centre for Endoscopic Diagnostics), CM (Center for Medical Specialties). The Diagnostic Imaging Center will contain a modern and exclusive Women’s Health space and an area for logistical and administrative support.
