A member of the K-pop group ASTRO passed away on Wednesday (19). The singer was found dead in his apartment. On Friday (21), the singer’s fans erected a memorial in the city of São Paulo, in front of the Korean Cultural Center, on Avenida Paulista. The event caused an uproar in South Korea. Many artists and TV shows canceled their schedules and schedules to mourn the artist.

Fans took flowers, balloons and black ribbons symbolizing mourning, and pasted posters with messages and photos of group members. The movement started through social networks, in several countries of the “Arohas”, as Astro fans are called, who create memorials to the artist. Until then, the police believed that the cause of death was suicide.

“With so much pain and weight in my heart, I wish we could all stay together now, give each other a shoulder and join hands to carry on through this very difficult and sad moment! Moonbin worked as an actor and model before joining Astro in 2016 at the age of 18.
