The main task of the Cabinet is the growth of GDP and providing the national economy with qualified personnel.
The main task for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine today is to ensure economic growth, which is reflected in the support of leading industries and provide the country with qualified personnel.
This was during a government meeting on Wednesday said Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to UNIAN.
“Economic growth is the main task. Further support those sectors that have growth potential, as well as providing the national economy with qualified Ukrainian personnel. These are the tasks we must perform in the future,” he said.
According to him, special attention should be paid to the development of agriculture, which forms together with the processing of 17% of GDP. Groisman said that the government should create conditions for the development of farming.
As reported, the state statistics service has improved the assessment of growth in real gross domestic product of Ukraine in the second quarter of 2018 in annual terms – up to the second quarter of 2017 – to 3.8% from 3.6%, according to operational data released in August.
The national Bank predicts Ukraine’s GDP growth in 2018 of 3.4% with inflation at 8.9%, the government – 3.2% with inflation at 9.9%.
The international monetary Fund expects economic growth of Ukraine in the current year by 3.2% with an inflation rate of 11%, the world Bank is 3.5% with an inflation rate of 10%.
