Igor Bogdanov died of COVID-19, days after the death of his twin brother Grechka

French TV star Igor Bogdanov, known for his eccentric figure and appearance, died yesterday at the age of 72, just days after the death of his twin brother Grichka. Both had covid-19.

“In peace and love, among his children and family, Igor Bogdanov left for the light on Monday, January 3, 2022,” said a statement issued by the Bogdanov family to the American “Sun” website. He is survived by his ex-wife, writer Amelie de Bourbon-Parme, and six children.

Grichka was reportedly hospitalized on December 18 after contracting the virus. He died on December 28.

The brothers were known to present series Science fiction shows “Temps X” in the 1980s, and they ran other science fiction shows, such as “Rayons X.”

Igor holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Burgundy, but his articles, published in the early 2000s, became the focus of controversy – many industry professionals thought they were misleading.

Also, according to “The Sun,” the brothers also became associated with the crypto community after Grichka claimed to have contributed the bitcoin source code.

They systematically denied that their striking and similar facial features were the result of plastic surgery, insisting they were natural.

In Le Monde, close friends mentioned that the two brothers had not been vaccinated against the coronavirus. However, the family has not yet confirmed this information.
