Kyrie Irving makes her NBA season debut even without Covid immunization | NBA

Point guard Kyrie Irving made his debut for the 2021/2022 NBA season on Wednesday night and showed he’s not feeling a lack of rhythm. He started as a start for the Brooklyn Nets in their win over the Pacers in Indiana and has 22 points, plus three rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block in 32 minutes. The star lost the team’s first 35 matches for refusing to take the Covid vaccine.

Under the laws of New York, the home of the franchise, it is not possible to participate in sports activities indoors without proof of immunization. The Nets preferred to remove the player to be only in outdoor matches, but they held back due to the number of infections through covid protocols.

The day after it was announced Kerry’s return, the player tested positive and had to be placed in quarantine. On Wednesday, it made its debut at a time when the team had only one embezzlement – and not for the virus. Joe Harris is unemployed due to surgery on his left ankle.

Kevin Durant was the game’s top scorer with 39 points in addition to 8 rebounds and 7 assists. James Harden scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Nets won 129 points to 121 after dropping by 19 points in the third quarter.
