According to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Apple’s first MacBook Pro models with OLED displays will not be released for at least three more years. This means that eager customers will have to wait until 2026 or 2027 to get their hands on these cutting-edge laptops.

The delay in the release is due to the need for Apple’s supply chain partners to develop manufacturing lines capable of mass production of laptop-sized OLED panels. It is no small feat to establish these production capabilities, hence the time lag.
