Disney + quietly teasing it What is? The animated series has now been released Quick teaser Marvel at the stunning ability of late last year, which was much brighter What if Brand. Today, Marvel Studios throws the long-awaited announcement of the show’s premiere date (August 11!) With an extended trailer that cuts to the right of the chase – and the good story of saving Tony Stark as Gilmonger by “chasing” the beginning of the attack Iron man, D’Salla leads the Guardians of the Galaxy (and wears a much cooler coat than Star-Lords, to be honest), appears to be the hockey Hulk (Hulkie?), And above all, Captain Becky’s arrival Carter. Idea, like What if The series’ titled comics, which are alternative versions of the stories shown in the movies, implicitly ask, “What if Peggy Carter gets super soldier serum?” There are such easy hooks. Or “What is Hulkie?”
Jeffrey Wright plays Udu The Watcher, the usual “I’re here to see what happens, I’m never, ever interfere” speech is complete and complete bullshit. Other actors are similarly interesting, as Marvel Studios invites everyone who has ever been in one of these films, not Chris Evans, Chris Broad, or Robert Downey Jr. Some voices are immediately recognizable (no one makes a classic “Michael Rooker voice” like Michael Rooker, it’s very clear that Haley Atwell is Peggy Carter), but the IMDB, unbelievably, is Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Natalie Portman, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ufalo, Paul Root, Sebastian Stan and even Chadwick Bosman. We have approached Disney to confirm the cast list, but if it really is him, it means this will be his last chance to hear D’Salla play and this will be his final role.
Update (7/8/21): Disney has confirmed that Chadwick Bosman will play D’Salla, although the full cast has not yet been officially announced.
