795 new COVID-19 cases, 8 additional deaths reported in Massachusetts


The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced an additional 795 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the total number nationwide since the outbreak to 652,535. State health officials have also added eight confirmed COVID-19-related deaths to the state total, which now stands at 17,324. So far, approximately 7.91 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been shipped to Massachusetts, of which more than 6.67 million, or 84.3%, have been delivered. So far, about 2.88 million people in the state have been fully vaccinated. According to the report, there are an estimated 19,125 cases pending across Massachusetts. So far, approximately 7.91 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been shipped to Massachusetts, of which more than 6.67 million, or 84.3%, have been delivered. So far, about 2.88 million people in the state have been fully vaccinated.

There are an estimated 19,125 lawsuits pending across Massachusetts.

A total of 441 patients with confirmed corona virus have been admitted to hospital in Massachusetts, of whom 128 are reported to be in the intensive care unit.
