Missile Attack Claims Lives of Crew in the Gulf of Aden

The attack, carried out by Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists from Yemen, targeted the M/V True Confidence, a Barbados-flagged vessel. At least four injuries have also been reported in the aftermath of the attack.
Coalition warships are currently on the scene, assessing the situation following the deadly assault. The UK Secretary of State for Defense has condemned the attack and praised the Indian Navy for their swift response in rescuing crewmembers and providing critical medical aid.

Meanwhile, the International Transport Workers’ Federation has strongly condemned the attack and called for ships to be rerouted around the Cape of Good Hope to ensure the safety of maritime workers.
