The Toronto Raptors struggled and dominated the 48th minute, but Joel Embiid smiled at the end. The Philadelphia 76ers earned 17 points and took the third game in Toronto into overtime. In overtime, the star makes the winning basket, out of the ocean, in less than a second on the clock. A score of 104-101 guarantees the Sixers a 3-0 lead in the group and the possibility of sweeping the Canadians on Saturday.

Embiid finished with 33 points plus 13 rebounds, Terese Maxi and James Harden and 19 points for Philadelphia. Tobias Harris scored 11 points and 12 rebounds and could have decided the match in normal time, but he missed the last shot under the basket. On the flip side, OG Anunoby scored 26 points, and Gary Trent Jr. He scored 24 and Precious Uchiwa added 20.

Fred Vanfleett All-Star not over 12 points, with 3 baskets in 13 attempts on the court, 2 of 10 from the periphery. He had 9 assists. Pascal Siakam, another big name for the Raptors, teamed up with just 12 points in 6 out of 16 on the field. Toronto will have to win four games in a row if it is to advance to the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference.

Missing the team was Rookie of the Year Scotty Barnes, who injured his left ankle in the closing period of the first game. The player has chances to return for the next duel. On the other hand, Matisse Toble did not play because he was not allowed to enter Canada. He admitted not getting the full course of the coronavirus vaccination, a requirement under the country’s rules.
