Facebook is releasing its V30 update for the Oculus Quest and Quest 2 VR headsets. As Mark Zuckerberg previewed earlier this week, v30 includes the new multitasking interface for the Infinite Office, which lets you put many applications side by side, including browser, Oculus TV, Oculus Move, Store and more.

Like many new Oculus Quest features, it will first appear in the Test section of the Settings menu. Once multitasking is enabled, you can drag and drop apps from the menu bar or the Applications Library.

The V30 update also activates the air link for the original Quest headset. Airport connection Came to Quest 2 in April Unlike Oculus Link via USB-C cable, it allows you to stream VR games wirelessly from your computer. Original Quest owners can previously stream PC games wirelessly Third-party applications on the virtual desktop.

Other new features include the addition of an access tab to the settings menu, which, among other things, allows you to adjust the height so that you can enjoy games from a standing view while sitting. Oculus also added the ability to switch the headset’s built-in microphone between computer-sized party chat and the app you use.

As always, the update will not immediately hit your headset due to the stumble rollout process, but Facebook Says It is coming.
