1 min readThe Franca Shopping Department, together with the Franca Science Museum, linked to the Center for Scientific Diffusion, installed in the former Champagnat College, will organize the “Science in the Shopping” exhibition.
The event will start on Wednesday, 3, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and end next Sunday, 7. The exhibition’s goal is to show the importance of technology and science in people’s lives and the improvements it brings to science education in Brazil.
The event is part of the National Science, Technology and Innovation Week (SNCT) activities. Residents will have the opportunity to take part in several experiences, all of which are exposed in the inner area of the mall. Also, outside, even a telescope can be used.
The exhibition focuses on the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge for primary and secondary school students and formal or informal technology students. The teams will provide direction and oversight for the implementation of the trials.
“The event set up at Franca Shopping will have the theme of energy history and will feature some equipment, as well as the telescope, such as the crane, rotating chair and other experiments,” said Sandra Valbo, Director of Espaço de Difusão.
