Legault, France and Switzerland

The first quebec minister François Legault will be in France and Switzerland during the next week. He will be coming to Paris until 22 January. He will meet Monday with his French counterpart Édouard Philippe, and the president and Emmanuel Macron. He will then head to Davos to attend the 49th economic Forum which will take place from 23 to 25 January.

Liberal Caucus and bloquiste

The federal parliamentarians are beginning to furbish up their weapons in preparation for the next session in the House of Commons. The liberals will be meeting in caucus on Monday while the caucus bloquiste will hold its meeting on Monday and Tuesday.

Caucus of the parti québecois

Federal politicians are not the only ones to meet in caucus. Thus, the parliamentary group of the Parti quebecois will meet Thursday in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.


Ministers federal, provincial and territorial authorities responsible for transport and road safety will be held on Monday their annual meeting. The federal minister Marc Garneau said to have good hopes of coming to an agreement with the provinces and territories on the national standards for the training of drivers of semi-trailers.

Rozon in court

The producer of fallen Gilbert Rozon was summoned to court Tuesday to charges of rape and indecent assault that were filed against him, of acts alleged to have been committed there for nearly 40 years.

Freestyle skiing

The world Cup freestyle ski team moved its home at mont Tremblant, where will take place the next stage of the bumps. The olympic champion champion Mikaël Kingsbury will want to avenge his counter-performance in Lake Placid, where he finished 5th after having won the first 4 stages of the season.
