Oncology Clinics (ONCO3)

Oncoclínicas has informed the market that it has signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unimed Nacional to create a new company.

According to the document sent to market, the new goal is to provide cancer services to cooperatives that are part of the Unimed system.

JV Unimed Nacional will have a contribution composition of at least 50.01% for Oncoclínicas and up to 49.99% for Unimed.

Cosan (CSAN3)

Cosan announced that it has acquired approximately 4.9% of the total common stock of mining company Vale (VALE3), in a move that seeks to diversify the company’s operations into sectors where Brazil has a competitive advantage.

The stake acquired in Vale, financed through long-term lines of credit, is approximately R$21 billion.

According to the market presentation, R$8 billion will be in a bridging loan that will be refinanced through an equity transaction and the remaining R$13 billion will be financed via a derivative structure over a period of up to 5 years with a guarantee of Vale’s own shares. .

Azul saw an 11.3% increase in passenger demand in September and a 22.4% growth in the third quarter compared to the same period last year.

The supply of seats on its planes last month grew 11.7% year-on-year, while last quarter saw an expansion of 19.5%. As a result, the aircraft occupancy rate from July to September was 81.8%, up 1.9 points from the previous year.
