A video posted this week, seen below in this article, shows a situation that developed on a commercial flight after weather conditions caused a landing (two drafts) at the destination airport.

The case occurred last Thursday, April 7, when an Airbus A321 of the US company JetBlue was on a JBU-1852 flight from Cancun, Mexico, to New York, in the United States.

Approaching the American city for landing, scheduled at JFK, the pilots encountered adverse weather conditions that led to the need to make a two-way tour.

In view of this, they chose to detour to Newark Airport, not far from New York, but in better conditions for landing. Upon reaching the alternate destination, problems began on the plane.

The airline chose to keep passengers on board on the ground, while waiting for the weather to improve at JFK, as there were no staff available in Newark to handle disembarkation and provide assistance to passengers on such an international flight.

In the video, a passenger is seen pleading: “My kids are in a panic. We have to get off this plane. This is dangerous! We’ve already tried to land four times… We’re afraid to fly, we want to get off! I don’t want to go to jail, but that’s not Right.”

The other passengers are seen corroborating the man’s opinion, though he only goes on to ask more bluntly: “I don’t care about JFK – it’s our life! People are sick there, people are passing out, people are vomiting! Little respect for humans!”

Despite the situation shown in the video above, no one was landed, and after an hour on the ground, the plane took off on a quick flight to its intended destination, where it landed without further roaming.

“Without proper customs procedures available for the flight in Newark, the aircraft remained on the ground for 60 minutes and, as the weather improved, it departed again for JFK, where it landed safely. We regret the inconvenience this weather-related deviation caused,” the airline said in a statement.

according to New York PostJetBlue even offered compensation of $50 per passenger.
