The fight between the two characters stemmed from Bello’s departure from the group Soweto Pagod in the 2000s.
About a year after Denílson bought the rights to the group, the singer left Soweto and pursued a solo career. After the fact, the five-time world champion claimed that Belo had breached the contract, and demanded a fine.
