PS Plus December 2021: Godfall: Challenger Edition, LEGO DC Super Villains, Mortal Shell

The monthly PlayStation Plus games for December will transport you to shimmering fantasy worlds and dark realms, where you will battle ruthless enemies. You can be the hero or the villain, but don’t waste time: explore the loot and battles of Godfall, meticulous combat of Mortal Shell or the evil of Lego DC Super Villains. All games will be available starting Tuesday, December 7th.

PlayStation Plus members will have until Monday, January 3 to add these titles, as well as three additional PS VR games to their game libraries.

Let’s get to know each game a little more.

Godfall: Challenger Edition | PS5 and PS4

Godfall is a looting and fighting game set in a brilliant fantasy world filled with heroic knights and mystical magic. Embark on a fantasy RPG adventure that uses high-impact third-person combat to engage players as they search for loot, wear legendary sets of armor, and defeat vicious enemies. The Challenger Edition focuses on three modes: Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and Ascended Tower of Trials. It’s all end-game level content, but you’ll be instantly equipped with a variety of deadly weapons and skill points, which allow you to team up with up to other players* in co-op mode. Improve your build and destroy your enemies. The Challenger Edition co-op is compatible with all upgraded versions of Godfall, and allows cross-generational play. Godfall: Challenger Edition players can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition at any time to gain access to the Godfall and Fire & Darkness campaigns.

LEGO DC Super Villains | PS4

It’s good to be bad… Embark on an all-new adventure on DC Lego to become the greatest villain that ever lived in the universe. Players will create and play like a brand new superhero throughout the game, unleashing evil and wreaking havoc in an action-packed storyline. Set in an open world experience set in the DC universe, the Justice League has vanished, leaving the protection of Earth to its fellows, who have proclaimed themselves as the Justice League. It’s up to you and a crazy group of misfits to discover the intentions of the new and strange superheroes on Earth. With the capital’s famous super-villains: The Joker, Harlequin, and countless others from the League of Injustice, players will draw on an epic adventure.

deadly shell | PS4

Mortal Shell is an in-depth RPG that tests your safety and resilience in a shattered world. As the rest of humanity wilts and rots, fiery foes stream through the ruins. With survival that requires superior awareness, precision and instincts, it does not exclude anyone. Find the hidden shrines of loyal followers and discover their true purpose.

PS VR games **

Three additional PS VR titles are still available for you to add to your game library, continuing to celebrate PS VR’s fifth anniversary. Survive in horror aboard a procedurally generated spaceship in The Persistence, face zombies in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and show off your roguelike sword skills until you fall. These three games are available until Monday, January 3rd.

Perseverance challenges you to survive aboard a doomed space colony in the year 2521. Lost, flawed and trapped in the relentless gravity of a black hole, the Perseverance crew turns into terrifying and deadly whims. It’s up to you, the clone of security officer Zimri Eder, to descend into the deepest floors of The Persistence to repair the systems and prevent the ship from collapsing. Collect resources, hone skills and prepare an arsenal of weapons in this brutal sci-fi roguelike game.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Standard Edition | PS VR **

Face all the horrors the living and the dead can offer in this new virtual reality adventure in the world of The Walking Dead. Travel through the wilderness-laden ruins of New Orleans as you fight, escape, mine and live every day, unraveling the mystery of a city within famous neighborhoods. Find desperate factions and lone survivors who can be friends or foes. Whether you help others or take what you want by force, every choice you make has consequences. What kind of survivor would you be for the people of NOLA?

until you fall | PS VR **

Fantasy and synthwave meet in this action packed sword fighting game for PS VR. Strengthen yourself as you fight in amazing neon environment and take down the magical beast in this light rogue melee combat. Move your arms and body to the beat of a soundwave soundtrack as you attack, block, cast spells and dodge, and advance deeper and deeper into a neon fantasy world filled with vicious monsters. Equip yourself with a variety of gameplay-changing weapons as you continue to gain strength and attack the monstrous creatures lurking in this mysterious world.

Last chance to download monthly PlayStation Plus games for November

PlayStation Plus Members: This is a reminder for you to add Knockout City, First Class Trouble, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning to your game library. All three titles will leave PlayStation Plus on Monday, December 6.
