Little Zohar Dillard, the 6-year-old son of rapper Flo Rida, has ended up in intensive care with serious injuries after falling from a fifth-floor apartment window in New Jersey, USA.

According to information from Page Six, Alexis Adams, the former rapper, claimed in a civil suit filed on Monday (27th), that the incident occurred about three weeks ago, on March 4. It indicated in the document that the building was in Jersey City “Windows installed with incorrectly sized guards”, Which would constitute a “serious condition” that led to the child’s fall.

Zohar — who was born with hydrocephalus, a rare neurological disorder characterized by an enlarged head in children — was found on the concrete sidewalk below and taken to hospital. The little boy was taken to the hospital with a fractured pelvis and left foot, a ruptured liver, collapsed lungs, and internal bleeding.

“As a single mother with a child who needs special care, this is a nightmare. My heart is breaking into a million pieces. I am frustrated, angry and struggling with the thought that my only child suffered serious injuries due to the negligence of a caretaker and others involved who failed to provide the necessary safety measures.”Alexis said in a statement to News12.

The suit names the apartment complex’s owners and managers, a construction company, and a window installer, as well as other individuals as defendants. Adams demands damages, attorneys’ fees, and payment of the Zohar’s medical bills.

So far, Flo Rida, who is known for his hit songs like “Low” and “Right Round,” has not commented on the incident. The rapper only acknowledged the paternity of the Zohar in 2018 after a DNA test. At the time, Alexis revealed to the Daily Mail that the artist was going to refuse to face the little one.
