Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G: a complete cell phone that carries several positive points | analysis / review
2 min readRedmi Note 12 Pro passes through TudoCelular mounts in its version with 5G connectivity. Is the most popular Xiaomi line among Brazilians still unbeatable in terms of cost-effectiveness? Let’s check out this analysis.
The design has been updated and is in keeping with the brand’s most progressive line. Redmi Note 12 Pro is still a cell phone with a plastic body, but it has a glass back with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The flat design differs from the Pro Plus version, as well as the available color options. It was more compact and lighter compared to the previous generation model, without having to make the screen smaller or sacrificing the battery.
The panel adopted by Xiaomi is completely complete with a size of 6.67 inches with Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, strong brightness, support for HDR10 + and Dolby Vision, as well as the ability to reproduce more colors than competitors from Samsung and Motorola. The sound is powerful and of good quality, with well-balanced bass, mids, and highs.
Redmi Note 12 Pro comes with the same chip as the most advanced model in the line, the Dimensity 1080 from MediaTek. The version we tested has 6GB of RAM and there are options for up to 12GB. Unfortunately, memory management needs improvement and the Chinese broker struggles to keep apps open in the background. At least he did well in every match we tested.
The 5000mAh battery lasts all day well. The Redmi Note 12 Pro was among the best we tested, and with light use it should be possible to get two days of battery life. The 67W charger that comes in the box takes an hour to fill the battery, which is a bit disappointing since we’ve seen others of similar power take less time.
The imaging group consists of a 50MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The imaging quality is good and even at night it is still possible to get clear pictures with good colors. There is effective stabilization, fast focusing, and the ability to shoot in 4K with the rear, while the front one is limited to Full HD resolution.
Redmi Note 12 Pro offers a good range, but for the price in the market it is not the king of cost-effectiveness, as you can see in our full review at the link below:
