Release Date Announced at the Star Wars Anime Visions Trailer, Studios, Anime Expo
2 min readGeorge Lucas loved Japanese artist Akira Kurosawa. While directly assisting Lucas Master in life, he produced the 1990 film Prismatic, dreams, His tribute began long ago. In fact, without it there would be no Star Wars Kurosawa’s 1958 play Hidden Castle.

Lucasfilm gave fans the first look of the series planned for this fall at the 2021 Anime Expo on Saturday. Relevant studios include Comics Doca, Geno Studio (Dual Engine), Studio Colorado (Dual Engine), Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Science Broth, and Product IG.
“Each of these studios we approached saw hardcore Star Wars fans,” Lucasfilm executive producer Jacques Lopez said on the sizzle reel. “They all had a story they wanted to tell.”

“This is basically the story of the dark side twins,” Hiroyuki Imashi of the trigger said of his installment. Daku Kimura describes his short story “Tattoo’s Rhapsody” as a “rock opera style film”.
