Senior Production & Development Executive at Amazon Studios MGM, Sandino Moya-Smith, was sadly among the employees who were laid off by the streaming/theatrical studio. Moya-Smith was a crucial member of the team, involved in the development and physical production of numerous projects. These included highly anticipated films such as Jake Gyllenhaal’s Road House and the action-packed comedy Wrecking Crew, starring popular actors Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa.

Moya-Smith’s career at MGM Motion Picture Group began during the era of Jonathan Glickman, the former CEO of the division. Despite the studio’s absorption by Amazon, he continued to work tirelessly on various projects, showcasing his expertise and dedication.

Before joining MGM, Moya-Smith held the prestigious position of VP of Production at Limelight Entertainment.
