Taís Araujo recalls meeting Viola Davis in America

actress Dice Araujo Giovanna gave an interview to the podcast “Come Pot, Pot” hosted by Evebank and Fernanda Pius Lem, and talked about several topics, including her experience meeting Oscar winner Viola Davis.
The Brazilian said the meeting took place at the actress’ home in Beverly Hills, USA, after the two spoke through messages on Instagram. While working at Toys Country, in June 2019, TM extended an invitation to meet them for coffee.
Because of the schedule, Davis’ publicist suggested they meet at the actress’s home for 30 minutes. “She was beautiful, dressed and made up, I was all shit”, he joked. “She was like a Hollywood star, and I was Dice Araujo from the mayor. She was going out to film the last season of ‘How to Get Away with Murder,’ and I was Viola’s puppy. Just a fan. I couldn’t believe it.”
“Half an hour turned into an hour and a half. If the conversation goes badly, I think she’ll make an excuse to leave within ten minutes. But the conversation was very nice and I think she liked it”, said Araujo.
Thais also posted a photo with Viola to organize the meeting, and the actress commented on the post. “My Brazilian sister Thais Araujo came to visit me. What a wonderful link! I like his credibility and his ability,” Davis said at the time. Check:
